The Get Connected Luncheon features keynote speaker Troy Wayman, Vice President of Economic Development, Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce providing an update on economic activity in our area. This can’t miss event attracts business leaders from all industry segments throughout the community. The lunch kicks off the Get Connected Day at the Arthur Outlaw Convention Center, August 27, 11:30 – 1:00. The lunch is $25 for chamber members, $30 for potential members.
Business & Technology Expo
Presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, the Business and Technology Expo will be Thursday, August 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center. It gives members an opportunity to promote and market their companies at Mobile’s only business-to-business trade show. There is also a Technology component that allows member technology companies to showcase their contributions to the Mobile area and abroad in the area of technology. Attendance exceeded 1,500 people and 200 exhibitors in 2008. You can reserve an exhibit by visiting the Web site below. Get yours before we fill up!

The Business Resource Fair is a one-stop shop where small business leaders can meet federal, state and local agencies and organization representatives specializing in finance, procurement, marketing, management, and technical assistance. The resource fair is free to attend. It is held in conjunction with the Mobile Chamber’s Business Technology Expo, at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center, August 27, 1:00 - 6:00.
Expo After Hours
Network with area professionals at Expo After Hours from 6:30 - 8 p.m. after the Business and Technology Expo. Enjoy a casual evening of networking with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
