The Get Connected Luncheon will feature a prominent keynote speaker. This is always a “can’t miss” event that attracts business leaders from all industry segments throughout the community. The lunch kicks off the Get Connected day at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center, August 26, 11:30 – 1:00. The lunch is $25 for chamber members, $30 for potential members.
Business Expo
The Business Expo will be Thursday, August 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center. It gives members an opportunity to promote and market their companies at Mobile’s only business-to-business trade show. Attendance exceeded 1,500 people and 200 exhibitors in 2009. Business Resource Fair
The Business Resource Fair is a one-stop shop where small business leaders can meet federal, state and local agencies and organization representatives specializing in finance, procurement, marketing, management, and technical assistance. The resource fair is free to attend. It is held in conjunction with the Mobile Chamber’s Business Expo, at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center, August 26, 1:00 - 6:00.
Expo After Hours
Network with area professionals at Expo After Hours from 6:30 - 8 p.m. after the Business Expo. Enjoy a casual evening of networking with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages. This is one of the best opportunities to introduce yourself and your business to other members and area professionals and to make new business contacts. Be sure to bring business cards. Reservations are not necessary and the cost is free!
