Organization
The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of more than 2,500 businesses members, representing 75,000 employees in the Mobile area. We are the largest Chamber of Commerce in the state, and one of the fastest growing in the nation.
The Chamber is governed by a 45-member board of directors, chaired by G. Robert Baker Jr. with Whitney National Bank with Michael Pierce, Commonwealth National Bank, will lead the organization in 2012.
Professional men and women work for the Chamber, and focus their efforts in communications, community and governmental affairs, economic development, finance, membership, small business development, trade and workforce development.
